Federico Fellini would have celebrated his 100th birthday in January of this year. The Banda Musical de Tavira joins the Cineclube de Tavira and Partilha Alternativa in honouring the famous Italian film director, with support from the Câmara Municipal de Tavira. The Banda will play the central theme from the film "Amarcord" by composer Nino Rota. His music is an essential element in Fellini’s oeuvre, perfectly translating the “Fellini-ness” of the images in his arrangements. The sound evokes the film that unfortunately cannot be shown at this time in Portugal, due to legal problems. We made a basic registration of this short concert, shot in the strong Algarvian sunlight, without edits or movement, focusing on the music which will without any doubt produce a stream of sensations and bring back lively memories of Fellini's universe.
